The National Sticker Launch and Prize Giving held on November, 12th was a great success.
The winners are: Pete Nicholls won 1st place, Chris Simpson won 2nd place and Henry Bennet won 3rd place.
They each received an iPod Nano. Pete has turned down the offer of an internship at DoubleDot Media because he’s the Chief Technical Officer at Gennaker Performance and is very happy there.
Thank you to the guest speakers, Rhyce Taylor from Sustainable Living and Dan Marrow from Greenpeace. Thank you to everyone who entered the competition, we received over 120 designs and were impressed with the high quality of the entries. Thank you to everyone who turned up, it was a great turn out.

Letterboxer is looking for the coolest ‘no junkmail’ sticker designers in NZ! We need a design for the new no-junkmail stickers we will be printing and posting nationwide for free. By entering you could help the environment, get famous, win an ipod and a score your dream job too 🙂
How To Enter
- Create a cool, funky or simple no-junkmail sticker for Letterboxer
- Enter as many times as you like
- Convert your design to a high resolution JPG, PNG, or PDF.
If you’re submitting any non-vector art, make sure it’s at 300 DPI. - Email the file to competition at letterboxer dot org dot nz
- Sit back and wait for the winners to be announced
- Entries close 15th October, extended until 31st October
The Rules
- Use the text, “No Junkmail” or “No Circulars”.
- Size: 90 x 40 mm in your choice of landscape or portrait orientation. We strongly recommend landscape because it fits better on letterboxes.
- Add 2mm bleed, so the size of your artwork is 94 x 44mm with the expectation that 2mm will be trimmed from each edge. This is important!
- Colours: This will be printed in 2 colours on a white sticker, they are black and lime green (Pantone PMS 376 or RGB 127,186,0). Just provide it in RGB, CMYK, whatever you’re comfortable with. We can convert it to spot colours later.
- Incorporate the new Letterboxer logo (available soon), the DoubleDot Media logo and the random logo in the logo pack (it will be replaced with something. Maybe your local dairy or your regional council, we don’t know yet).
- To win you must be a New Zealander (resident or citizen)
